Welcome to the Cheonan Medical Center (CMC). CMC was built as a public hospital to promote the physical health and safety for the residents of Chungcheongnam-do. It placed at Bongmyong-dong in 1962.

CMC provided public medical service for nearly a half century, however, the building remained small and old. In 2012, a new CMC hospital was built with updated eco-friendly equipments and various facilities at Samyong-dong. Now, CMC has updated medical equipment, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomographic (CT) scanner, ultra-sound (US), and mammography,

etc. We can provide a convenient medical environment. CMC also provides contemporary medical service, such as artificial joint clinic, thyroid breast center, and gastrointestinal center. CMC has an artificial kidney room, which is cost-effective and very useful for patients with renal failure.

We actively provide public medical services, such as beds without care-givers, hospice care, and home care nursing, which is not easy to achieve by private hospitals. CMC offers treatment for people that may be neglected or marginalized by the medical system.

Being socially considerate to those who are economically vulnerable is justice. We aim to help these people receive treatment without being discriminated against.

CMC performs the role of a disaster response facility. In the case of a nationwide epidemic where quarantined treatment is necessary, or when patients come in from the result of a disaster, CMC will operate a response treatment system that is both swift and precise. CMC functions as a pilot project for both the central and municipal governments. At present, CMC is implementing the Chronic Disease Management Project, and the new diagnosis related group pilot project initiated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and also the Residents Participation Committee of the Chungcheongnam-do municipal government. he people of Chungcheongnam-do are our masters, and everyone at CMC is ready to serve.
